About Our Rabbitry

What We Do

ForestLine Rabbitry was established in 2021 in Wake Forest, NC. We raise show quality Holland Lops. We are members of ARBA, HLRSC, NCRBA and The 4-H Bunny Buddies club of Johnston County.

We are a small-sized rabbitry dedicated to producing quality Holland Lops bred to the standard of perfection. We strive to produce high-quality rabbits that are healthy, free of genetic issues, sound in temperament, and that we we are proud to put on a show table.

Who We Are

We are The Vernier family! Grant is our herdsman and handles all the rabbits at the show tables. He is always working hard to learn and improve and helps out around the barn with day-to-day duties. Caroline is our herdswoman-in-training. She loves helping feed and water, and is very good at socializing the babies! Heather (Mom) handles the communication, record keeping, and (unfortunately) most of the cleaning!

How We Started

ForestLine Rabbitry began in March 2021 with a pair from Brenda Smith of Narrow Gate Farm in NC. From that pair we bred two does that went on to become our first grand champions! Later, we acquired a GC buck from Narrow Gate which helped us produce two more grand champions. We are proud to say we now have some of the top ranked youth Holland Lops in the Southeast.
